What are the different tabs used for?

Simple definitions and common use cases for each of the tabs available in Lit Alerts.

See below for a simple definition of each of the different tabs available to you:

Locations Tab

The Locations screen provides a map and three critical customer lists.

  1. On Retail Menu - Shows all retail locations that have had product on their menu within the past 30 days.

  2. Previously On Retail Menu - Shows all retail locations that had product on their menu over 30 days ago

  3. Off Retail Menu - Show all retail locations that have never had product on their menu.

Common use cases include:

  1. Generating customer lists

  2. Visualizing market penetration

  3. Route planning for sellers and brand ambassadors

Menu Listings Tab

The Menu Listings tab is a simple, organized table of the retailers online products listings. You have the ability to filter by category, brand and availability. You can easily export this data to analyze a single store's menu in detail.

Common use cases include:

  1. Monitoring local competition pricing and product mix

  2. Researching brands pricing and merchandising across the state

  3. Looking for new trending brands to bring into your store

Activity Feed Tab

This is a live feed of all the events our system predicts. This is where we build trust. No black box here, you can see everything our system predicts.

Common use cases include:

  1. Diving deep into a specific event type

  2. Generating a raw dataset for export and further analysis

  3. A quick look a the most recent data in the tool

Analytics Tab

The Analytics tab is a view of the performance, pricing and trends insights available in the app. Available at both the Market and Watchlists level of the tool, this is where you visit to learning about top brands, top retail locations, category breakdown, and simple trend visuals.

Common use cases include:

  1. Looking for brand and retailer rankings for a specific category

  2. Tracking the trend of a market, brand or retailer

  3. Market level pricing analysis

Comparisons Tab

Using the comparison tab is a straightforward and easy way to keep tabs on your competition. This feature was built directly from Lit Alerts user feedback and requests.

Common use cases include:

  1. Wholesale teams compare their brands to the competition across the state

  2. Retail GMs and marketing teams compare pricing, product mix and positioning opf their local competition.

  3. Compare a group of stores to choose which ones are ideal to approach for new accounts.
