We're all about simplicity so why would we force you to download yet another mobile app when we can create the exact same experience right in your mobile browser, whether it's Chrome or Safari. We turned our web app into a progressive web app (PWA)! So now you can add Lit Alerts to your mobile phone home screen snd use it just like you would a mobile app.

Helpful Information
iPhone Chrome vs. Safari: On iOS, Chrome uses Apple's WebKit engine under the hood, so shortcuts added via Chrome open in Chrome rather than Safari. If you want the shortcut to feel more like a native app (no browser UI), Safari's "Add to Home Screen" typically does a better job with sites that support Progressive Web App (PWA) standards.
Android Chrome: If the site supports PWA installation, Chrome may automatically show a banner or a small install icon in the address bar — tapping that is an even faster shortcut to the same result.
